This place was perfect for us.
It was clean, and the people were attentive and friendly. Got well-designed, reasonably large room with a big private bathroom.

dog friendly room, expansive grounds, beautiful garden
The dog friendly room could use a bit more thoughtful decor!!! The access road to the hotel feels a bit neglected-more attention to the approach would help improve the first impression!!!

The location is aweomse, however, I couldn't get a mobile signal, just inexcusable. The shower had an intolerably weak spray, made me question their standards. Honestly, I expected a complimentary treat for enduring such inconveniences, but apparently, that's too much to ask. I almost wrote a good review, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

Pickering paradise 🌳🍃
Wow, those gardens were something else! And Ian and Linda were just the warmest hosts, so down-to-earth. The vibe was super chill-just perfect for a brekkie stroll with my dog. Seemed like I was sitting in a bush lodge, ya know? Really loved the peacefulness.
Only kinda bummer was no mobile signal-eina!

Perfect getaway for dog lovers!
We spent 3 nights soaking in the peaceful vibes. The gardens were awesome for morning walks with our pup, and we enjoyed cozying up over a packed lunch by the lake. Only thing is, the shower could've been stronger. Really grateful for the warm welcome with tea and cake after our long drive!
